The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regards to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area every day. The service level established for intervention ordeals a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, here which makes it hard with the office to attend to all click here people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to help the servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
